IT Resiliency Consultant
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Resiliency Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' IT infrastructure against any unforeseen disruptions. You'll be a strategic architect and a planner, crafting robust disaster recovery (DR) solutions, optimizing backup systems, and guiding clients through every step of building business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery plans (DRP).
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client IT environments, identifying vulnerabilities and evaluating the effectiveness of existing DR and BCP plans.
• Design and implement resilient architectures, recommending state-of-the-art DR solutions, optimizing backup systems, and configuring cloud-based disaster recovery strategies.
• Develop and document meticulous BCP and DRP documents, establishing clear procedures, communication protocols, and recovery time objectives (RTOs) for various disruptive scenarios.
• Facilitate and support rigorous DR drills and simulations, testing plans, identifying gaps, and fine-tuning processes to ensure seamless recovery in the event of disasters.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients during incident response situations, minimizing downtime and restoring operations swiftly and efficiently.
• Continuously stay abreast of industry trends, research and evaluate emerging technologies, and update your knowledge of evolving DR and BCP best practices.
• Foster a collaborative spirit, working closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and ongoing maintenance.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non- technical audiences in an engaging and informative manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, preferably with a Master's degree.
A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in IT disaster recovery and business continuity.
A demonstrably successful track record of designing, implementing, and testing DR and BCP plans.
In-depth knowledge of DR and BCP best practices, methodologies, and frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 22301.
Extensive expertise in various DR and backup technologies, including replication, mirroring, failover, and virtualization.
Solid understanding of cloud-based DR solutions offered by major providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Bonus Points:
Possessing recognized certifications from BCI , AWS, Azure, GCP , etc.
Prior experience working in a consulting environment.

You will play a key role in helping our clients assess, design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient network infrastructure. Responsibilities:
